02 / The hour
One hour, minute by minute.
Fractional resurfacing, full face. This is what the hour is.
- 00:10 Numbing is on. You will feel pressure rather than pain, and you will feel all of it.
- 00:20 Minute 20 — the swelling peaks. It is supposed to.
- 00:30 Halfway. This is the part nobody photographs.
- 00:40 Your face is hot and tight. That lasts most of the evening.
- 00:50 We stop where we are, if you ask us to stop.
- 01:00 You go home red. Day three is the worst of it. By day seven you look like yourself.

04 / Risks
What can go wrong, in the same type as the prices.
None of this is unusual and none of it is hidden. Read it before the consultation, not in the chair.
Bruising
7–10 DAYS
Bruising after filler is common. It goes purple, then green, then yellow, then it goes. Concealer covers it from about day three.
Swelling
48 HOURS
Everything swells. It peaks the morning after, not the evening of, which is why we do not book anyone the day before something that matters.
Lumps and unevenness
2 WEEKS
Filler can settle unevenly. We see you at two weeks to check it, and if it is our work we dissolve it at our cost.
Asymmetry
2–4 WEEKS
Faces are already asymmetric. Toxin can make that more obvious before it makes it less. It usually settles within a month.
Vascular occlusion
SAME HOUR
Rare and serious: filler entering a blood vessel. If the skin blanches, mottles, or hurts far more than it should, you call us that hour — not the next morning. Dissolving agent is kept in the treatment room.
It may not be enough
ONE SESSION
One session may not get you what you came for. We will say so before you pay rather than after, and we will not sell you a second one in the same appointment.
The room is cold.
One lamp, one table, two chairs. No music, no scented candle, no robe. The price list is on the wall at eye level, in type you can read from the chair, and it is the same list that is on this page.

How this goes.
Consultation
45 MIN
You sit down, you say what you want, and we say what it costs and what it will actually do. If the answer is that we cannot get you there, that is the answer you get, and the fee is still $60.
Cooling-off
14 DAYS
Nothing is injected on a first visit. There are fourteen days between the consultation and the appointment. It is not a sales technique — it is the gap in which people change their minds, and some of them do.

You get the timeline on this page before you get the appointment. Nothing in that hour is a surprise, including the parts of it that are unpleasant.
Review
DAY 14
Everyone comes back at two weeks. Not to be sold anything — to be looked at, in the same light, by the person who did the work.
Correction
90 DAYS
If it is our work and it is wrong, we correct or dissolve it at our cost, within ninety days. That is the only guarantee on this page and it is deliberately the narrow kind.
Then it is only an evening.
