We would rather you saw it than trusted us about it.
Every room you could be treated in is on this page, photographed and described. Ask to stand in one before you sit in it.
Nothing begins until the cost of it is written down and you have read it. If the plan changes mid-treatment, so does the estimate, before we carry on.
You will be told what needs doing, what could be done, and what can be left alone — in that order, and with the third one said out loud.

Nobody is afraid of a dentist. People are afraid of a room they have not seen. So here they are — the chair, the light, and what the room sounds like with the door shut.
The light room
The room at the top of this page. The overhead light is the loudest thing in it, and it is not loud. The handpieces hang where you can see all four of them before anyone picks one up.
The quiet room
Darker, further from the street, and the one to ask for if noise is the part you mind. Longer appointments happen here because it is the room you can lose an hour in without noticing.
What the first visit is.
You arrive, and nothing happens yet
No forms on a clipboard while you are still catching your breath. You sit down, and the first thing anyone does is ask what brought you in and what you would rather avoid.
We look, and you look with us
The intraoral camera goes on the screen in front of you, not on a monitor turned away. If there is something to see, you see it at the same moment we do.
The plan is written down before it is agreed
What needs doing, what could be done, and what is fine left alone — on paper, with the cost of each written next to it. You take it away. Nothing is booked in that appointment.
You decide, in your own time
If you want to stand in the room the treatment would happen in first, ask. That is a normal request here and it costs nothing.
